Hi all,
First of all, I want to acknowledge this forum as a great source of info regarding the Savage. My question is this: I recently started my bike, 1996 LS650, after sitting all winter and noticed that there was a white-colored smoke coming from the cylinder head(where the pipe is attached ). I changed the sparkplug before starting the bike and was wondering if this was possibly the problem(improper torque?). I was also thinking that maybe it was just burning off some accumulated oil that leaked(there is some oil deposits in the fins), or maybe just burning off the old gasoline. I let it idle for a while, hoping it would stop, but no such luck.
Does anyone have any other ideas on what this could be.
Thanks everyone!
Ride safe, Bryan
